Haul out the Holly, bundle up and experience the magic of the season…..Savannah Style!

Its three days of Christmas on Historic River Street! Join the Savannah Waterfront Association and over 60 artists and crafters offering unique, one-of-a kind shopping right before the holidays! Start your holidays off right with First Friday Fireworks exploding over the Savannah River and then head back to the river on Saturday and Sunday for exceptional shopping for the lucky folks on your list – you might even find a treasure or three for yourself! There will be plenty of seasonal music, performances, dancing and more to put even Ol’ Scrooge in the holiday spirit! You’ll find it all at Rousakis Riverfront Plaza on Saturday and Sunday. There, you will find plenty of food, cold and frosty beverages and Savannah Popcorn Company’s fresh- popped kettle corn! Historic River Street has more than 100 shops, restaurants and pubs to complete your weekend!

DJ’s-to-Go will fill the air with music and you will not want to miss all the special performances! Pride of Ireland Dancers, Maxine Patterson’s School of Dance, Abeni Cultural Arts Performers, Marylin Youman’s School of Dance, Calvary Singers, CC Express Cloggers, The Gretchen Green Dancers and more Abeni Cultural Arts Performers all take the stage!

Savannah’s Lighted Christmas Parade starts on West River Street and then meanders all through downtown via Bay, Abercorn, Broughton and Montgomery Streets – so nice, you can watch it twice! Savannah

Dottie, the Streetcar will lead off this completely lighted parade that has over 40 units, nearly 600 walkers and marks the official arrival of Santa Claus himself!

And don’t forget the fabulous Savannah Theatre, they’re performing their special “A Christmas Tradition” this weekend and it’s full of uplifting song and dance designed around what else? Christmas, and all our warm and fuzzy memories. A must see!

Enjoy historic River Street…..and Celebrate Responsibly!
